"Silent Moves from the Silver Screen"
is a full-evening program that showcases excerpts from Parallel Exit's most entertaining works: THIS WAY THAT WAY, a "silent comic live-action road movie" inspired by Laurel and Hardy and other great comic duos of the 20th Century; and TIME STEP, which follows three hoofers out to prove that age has no limitation on the imagination. New for 2008-2009 is CUT TO THE CHASE, a vaudeville revue for the whole family. “Cut to the Chase” was nominated by New York theatre critics for a 2007-2008 Drama Desk Award for “Unique Theatrical Experience."In addition to the full-evening "Silent Moves from the Silver Screen," each of the three components of this program can be presented in its entirety - as a 90-minute entertainment, including intermission.
